Reply:Here is my moms kumquat mutton masala recipe.( Its a side Dish which goes along with any Indian main dish)

In a pressure cooker take 500gms mutton pieces add a little water + salt and cook it ..U may add a bit of masala if u want.

Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a vessel and crack few mustards.

Add finely chopped onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilly and just sort it .(.Dont FRY it up!!!)

Add a bit of each spices like cumin celery corriander fenugeek along with garam masala ( the more Indian spice the taster ...but if these are not avilable u can skip 1 or2 spices but always add garam masala!) along with 3 or 4 tomatoes after cutting it 2 pieces..

Keep on stirring till the tomatoes work up into a think gravy in low flame.

Now add the cooked meat and sliced Kumpuats (or with 1cup curd) into the gravy ..Add salt 2 taste

Adjust the viscosity of the gravy by adding water ...2 increase the consistancy of gravy add 2 teaspoon cornflour soaked in water 2 decrease simply add water but beware of diluting the taste.

Now enjoy the hot and spicy dish along with bread or chappatis!!!
