Where can I purchase artificial kumquats to fill a thanksgiving centerpiece?

I have an old wire egg basket that I plan to use to make a Thanksgiving centerpiece for Mom this year.

I have some Autumn colored artificial callalillies that I plan on using in it, but would also like to fill the empty space with something small and orange/ bittersweet to show peeking through the wires.

kumquats, rose hips, unripe cherry tomatoes all come to mind, but I haven't had any luck finding them in stores or on the web.

Any leads would be appreciated thank you.

If there is a really good bakery in your area, one that makes custom cakes, etc. They may be able to make up a batch using marzipan. Hey- maybe you could read up on marzipan and make your own!!

Oh yes- another idea is to use modeling paste/clay like Sculpy. You can get it colors, and even blend colors. A few minutes in moderate oven bakes it.

Try Googling Sculpy.

Good luck!
